Efficiency at short runs
Because digital printing needs no plates, setup costs are lower for small quantities. That suits testing a new product, preparing event materials or producing personalised prints. At higher volumes, methods such as offset can become more economical.
A pre-press checklist
Before sending a file, check the colour mode (CMYK), bleed, resolution and whether fonts are outlined. A small proof print reveals colour differences early that are invisible on screen.
